I can assist you in either a short-term or long-term
therapy framework. I have over 16 years experience in
dealing with the various problematic life transitions
that occur for individuals, couples, families and children.
I can provide you with tools to handle communication
breakdowns, family sessions to resolve family concerns,
understanding of men and women's needs, and ways to
heal from crises, divorce, grief and losses. With children,
play therapy is the model used to explore your child's
emotional and behavior problems. If you are a religious
or spiritual person, we can incorporate this dimension
into the process. My style or integrative approach draws
from many models of therapy and tailors the process
to address the problem presented. A sliding scale is

I provide services for individuals; couples, families;
and children.
For COUPLES, this would include the following: conflict;
parenting; divorce; affairs; preventation of drifting
apart; sexual problems; premarital counseling. For families:
assessment of dysfunctional family systems and establishment
of healthy alternatives.
At times I am directive, assist with problem solving,
provide linkage services, give homework, stratagize
with parents, couples, and individuals on how to approach
sensitive communication with those with whom they are
having conflict. At other times, if a client is dealing
with difficult emotions or conflict, I will quietly
and empathically listening while sensitvely guiding
the client into a new level of insight that empowers
them with a deeper level of freedom from buried pain
or conflict.
In case of emergency you can reach me at this number

within minutes. My hours of availability are Monday
through Thursday, late mornings, afternoons, and evenings
until 9:30pm. I offer occasional Saturday appointments.
FEES: if you do not have insurance that covers my services
then I will negotiate fees that hopefully are comfortable
for both of us.
